Shenzhen Garment Industry Association

The Pearl River Delta region of China is the world’s leading producer of fashion apparel. Shenzhen is directly at the center of this region and the Shenzhen Clothing & Fashion Association (SCFA) is the largest garment organization in China.

Established in 1988 with the support of the Shenzhen Municipal Government, the association members include clothing, apparel, textile, and other industry related manufacturers. The association maintains research and development centers throughout Guangdong. SCFA maintains two committees within the industry, the Committee of Costume Design Professionals and the Women’s Professional Committee.

Currently there are more than 2,700 fashion apparel companies in Shenzhen, employing more than 300,000 people. Total annual output is 258 USD Billion with exports comprising 12.2 USD Billion.
Shenzhen Garment Industry Association on August 18, 1988, approved by the Shenzhen Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau incorporated by Shenzhen in clothing, apparel, textile and other industry-related companies voluntary organizations, non-profit social organization. The Association has R & D centers costume designer professional committees, women’s professional committee.

Hosted by “China (Shenzhen) International Brand Clothing & Accessories Fair,” “Shenzhen International Fashion Week”, organized by the “Shenzhen Garment Network (www.eflink.cn)” “Shenzhen Fashion News”, “fashion” magazine. Currently has 600 member units, focused on the most outstanding costume Shenzhen enterprises.
